Special Minstry – Mike Conell

Life isnt always fair. I had my major project evaluation today.
It was real bad and i had only 4hrs of sleep.

I was looking forward to the duty in the afternoon.
The service excellence award i talked abt the other time.
The duty was great, everybody did well.
The organiser was very impressed with us,
and we got to know a bunch of cool friends.

28/7/2007 (saturday)
Was rather reluctant to wake up at 8am.
PACE is having NYAA activity at 10am.
Get to know the year 1’s better and shed some excess weight. =p

I went to the library after that to do my wsad assignment.
As i was running late(4.50pm), i decide to cab down.
However, the time i was flagging a cab happen to be the “changing shift”,
and there was no cab!
Than, as i start to pray, a cab appeared…

Shaun was back and we were crapping throughout the sermon.
After the service, i went to get the “Breakaway” cd.
However, the person said that it has already been paid for.
I insisted that i didnt pay, but she keep pushing the cd to me.

Anyway, i decide to take it coz shaun wanted it badly. =p
In the end, i got another cd and blessed shaun with the extra cd.

The deliverance service started excatly at 7.30pm.
Pastor mike had 3 altar calls and i went for all of them.
According to auntie faye, the spirits in me is very stubborn and aggressive.
I need 4 guys to press me down. =x

Throughout the whole thing, I was semi conscious.
I was struggling, laughing, screaming, semi possessed i guess?
And everytime i was prayed for,
i will fall under the power of God.

As they prayed for me, i felt the urge to puke.
However, there was nothing.
So, throughout the whole ting,
its just coughing and pukish action.

while semi conscious,
i saw a vision of many people dressed in white robe.
I look at the surrounding, look like whitish and cloudy.

Once i reach my seat,
i went to tell shaun and auntie faye abt this.
As we were discussing, Pastor mike explained.

“When u have deliverance, you will see the kingdom of heaven”.

After service, we decided to go bedok for dinner.
On our way to train station, we realise that the train escalator was barred.
people have to walk all the way to the rear end.
however, as we(shaun) passed through the barricade,
the staff opened up the barrier and we got to use the excalator!

bleah. with shaun around,
there is always so many thing to anticipate from God.

When i reach home, i decide to remove the porn stuffs from my com.
A few mins before that, i was sending email to my frens.
And the next min, just when i set my mind to delete away the stuffs,
my labtop blank out. (scary)

29/7/2007(Sunday)
Auntie faye told me that she felt that i should go today.
I was late, reached at abt 12.45pm.

For the first time, i saw Mr Oh Chin lock,
my Major project supervisor in church.

This time, i went for 2 altar calls.
As always, i fell under the power of God.

The only difference is, today i didnt convulse as badly as yesterday.
Also, when the person was praying for my sexual sins,
i ‘pukish’ more and cough alot more, compared to yesterday.

After pastor mike conell left,
pastor derek took over.

While waiting on the Lord,
power of God came again.
Pastor derek was standing at the stage,
and when he say ‘whoosh’…
Justin and i, who was sitting at the second last row of the terrace fell!

Pastor derek prayed over my section thrice, and we fell thrice!
It was really a very meaningful experience i had. =x

Praise God i got delievered.

Prayer Walking My Sunday School

Today, i was supposed to lead praise and worship.
Last night, i prepared all the songs and stored them into a cd rom.

This morning, when i tried to play the cd using my hse player,
it cant play….and as i was running late,
i didnt bother much and rush down to church.

On my way, I prayed that my cd will be able to play in church.
Also, i prayed that God will provide for me if the cd cant play.

When i reached church, the cd player was already in the room.
And when i open the cd player, i found a hillsong cd in it!
So i took out my own cd and tried playing it, it work!

As class was about to start, i thought i should pray.
So, i played the hillsong cd and started to pray.

As i was praying, i felt God presence rest upon the room.
It was so strong, i got goosebump several times,
as i started to prayer walk the classroom for His use.

Just to make sure im not making it up,
i though i do a comparison.

So I went out of the room and sense the atmosphere.
The air outside felt light n empty.

When i stepped back into class, the atmosphere was heavy.
Its not sinster or wad, its a very comforting feeling.
It must have been God’s presence and annointing!

Anyway, I just want to say a big thank you to God.
All these is not possible without God intervening. =)
All Glory to Him! =)

God will not disappoint those who put their faith in Him,
Especially those who perserve when the odds are stack against them.

Yesterday, went to find pauline after my lecture ended.
She told me she just lost all her cards in her wallet.
Among her cards, there is posb, ezlink,matrix card…
And she lost it less than 5 mins ago!

The incident started when she first cab down to sch.
she left the cab and on her way up to the lab,
she noticed that her wallet was open and all the cards are gone.
dear pauline searched high and low and prayed.

So, i decide to help her find one more time.
She tot it was impossible we find it….
After finding all the places, i suddenly tot we should drop by the general office.
True enuf, the cards have already been returned!
Praise God for that man. =p

I left shortly and on my way home,
i left my $499 Blazer and suit in my lab!
This morning, went back to my lab and found my blazer.
I think God send angels to help me look after it. haha. =p

As i had no sch, i decide to go Orchard.
I wanted to get a DVD of my fav band lollipop.
So, i went to every CD shop in orchard,
spent 2 hrs walking every corner and found nothing.

It turns out that the DVD was limited prints.
Anyway, as i was about to leave for home,
i suddenly remembered that i haven went to “That CD shop”.
That shop just flashed through my mind.

And i walked the path twice, and im sure the shop was hidden.
Anyway, on my 2nd attempt to look for the shop,
i found it.

It was a rather small shop,
i didnt really expects to find the dvd there.
(everytime i entered a cd shop, i prayed very hard)

I searched through the shop, and true enuf i cant find anyting.
Decide to ask the cashier….
Initially, she tot the shop dont have it,
than, she points to her feet…….

LOLITA!
i finally found it lah!!
She told me those have just been imported
and every music shop has less than 5 copies.
it cost $64.90.

I bought it without hesistation…
anyway….
the point im trying to make is,
God is forever faithful.

Just when you thought it is impossible,
learn to rely on Him. He will surely guide u through,
not in ur timing, but in His divine timing. =)

God, i love you. =)

Use Me Lord!

When u crucify your flesh to the cross,
it also mean that u place your reluctance on the cross.

I had two major projects due on monday,
and not much stuffs have been done.
My conscious mind told me to skip cell and make use of the few hours to slack.
I thought abt all the wonderful TV shows im going to miss.
it sure sound inviting, and my work was cancelled last min.
However, i realise that i too must honor God.

So i met up with yan ling and Horn ann.
On the train, while they were fellowshipping, i was reading a book.
It talk about the grace of God.
[pastor kong was sharing abt grace last week]

During worship, I felt God told me to share abt grace. i didnt.
In the end, jenny spoke abt distractions and grace.
I knelt down and confessed to God.
In summary, God ministered to the cell during worship.

During word, shin yen shared more abt GRACE!
Isnt it cool to see everything tie in?

Than, i felt that i have to pray for chock.
Didnt know why. So during word,
i took a paper and wrote down some prayer pointers.
When word time was over,
Shin yen prayed for me over my studies.

While Shin yen was praying,
God reminded me of something i read not long ago.
God cant shape a person if there is no obstacles or trials in his/her life.
Than I remember i prayed that i wanted God to place some trials in my life….

Anyway, after praying with shin yen, i went to look for chock.
I told her i wanted to pray for her,
and as i was praying, God spoke.

So, i shared with her what i thought God wanted to say to her.
After that, Chock told me that she felt i was praying in the spirit.
coz she say she didnt tell me the entire problem.
but what i said was what she needed to hear from God!

Its super cool….

Than, i showed her the paper which i scribbled the prayer pointers earlier on.
It was exactly wad she felt before i prayed for her.

God is so big in His plans we will never understands them. =)

I thank God for using me in a mighty way today.
God, remove all my earthly desire and give me a desire to know u more intimately.

buzzy cross

Yesterday, it was as if a burden was being lifted off my chest.
We were suppose to submit the User interface for our Major project at 11am,
but our supervisor extended it till 6pm.
In the end, i sent in the stuff at 7.00pm.

By the time i board the train, it was already 7.25pm.
The train was not so packed, and i manage to find my fav spot.
A spot where u can lean and watch the scenery as the train move.

I was half dead, and during mid-journey, something happened!
As the train heads into the tunnel,
my mp3 was playing a worship song.

While worshipping God with half my mind(the other half in dreamland)
i felt my cross buzzed!

It’s buzziness woke me up.
Instinctively i pressed the cross hard against my chest,
hoping it will buzz again.

Im very sure it buzzed.
dnt ask me how and what happen, it just did.

Shaun’s mum, auntie faye did had similar experiences.
She felt her cross move as if its a pulse beat more than twice.

Initially, when auntie faye shared with me, i tot its only her.
But today, i felt it too. goodness.

btw, its the necklace shaun got me. *wink*

Today, i managed to sleep till 11.50am.

Although im having my two weeks term break,
I had to go back to sch everyday from 9am to 6++pm.
I was rushing my major project for the past 2 weeks.

So, to be able to sleep till this late was really a blessing.
I had a heavy lunch, became a coutch potatoe for the entire afternoon.

Went off to nap at 4plus, overslept and woke up at 5.30pm.

I was suppose to meet auntie guna and carmen.
We were to distribute flyers at some blocks.
(auntie eunice joined us after we had dinner)

Its really good exercise, from 25th floor,
u walk all the way to ground floor.

We fellowshipped at the coffeeshop after we were done.
We had fun talking, all the way till 11 plus!

anyway,
With aunties like guna/eunice around, im always the baby.

Baby is my nickname. =p

ps: i dyed my hair brown today! carmen said it look nice on me! ^_^ V

Hot bus Cool Me =p

Today sermon was good,
talked abt releasing the glory in you.

After service ended,
i was slated to meet shaun for lunch.
(shaun stayed at bukit batok)

I took the holland V route,
as i had to settle some financial stuff at the bank.
When i reach the bus stop,
bus 106 came. total sweetness.

However, the bus was stuffy.
It was like a sauna. the driver obviously didnt on the air con.
To make things worst,
most of the traffic light was red,
that mean more waiting time. sigh!

Darn, its as if the devil is obstructing me.
Than, i start to pray.

I prayed out loud as the bus has less than 5 passenger.
And soon after, the air con came back.
The road was also smoother, lesser red lights, more green lights!

Reached shaun hse and got my ‘reward’. =p
A necklace, made of pure silver.
It is actually made up of two cross.
One thin frame of silver and a small metal cross inside the silver frame.
I wore it and it fit me to a T!

Shaun had a near-identical cross too. =)

Oh, we nearly got stuck in the lift on our way to lunch.
And, both of us like hillsongs latest albulm, Might to save. =p

Hmm, yup yup.

Handled the Professional Way

It was raining Cats and Dogs in the afternoon!
you could barely look out of the windows,
And I had to leave for church in less than 15mins time.
So i prayed that the rain will not be so heavy, than i went to bath.

When im ready to leave house,
the rain did change, it was not so heavy and i thought i could leave home!
Met auntie Faye and had a chatty joruney to church.

We had our normal Praise and worship.
Followed by a message for offering.
Next, there was a video announcement.

Normally, after the announcement, we will sing a song, than pastor will preach.
However, today they had a Emerge Math Competition rematch.

The competition was terrific.
I cant even answer any of the qns and they had to do it in 30sec!

All along, pastor kong was on his way to church.
His flight was delayed.

After the maths competition, i thought of wad’s next.
Than pastor tan invited two guest to the stage.
They shared and we listened.

Than Pastor tan got everybody to stand and prayed.
As we were praying halfway, Pastor kong appeared!
It was. ahh!

Sermon was good.
Pastor kong demolish the theory of Evolution.
There is one thing that you and i have, that no ape or monkey have.
And its so great that the devil always possess ppl coz of it.
you know wad is it?

Its our soul.
Humans are the only being that have a soul.
Angels, animals, devil, they have nothing.

So cool yeah? =)

Had dinner with another cool cell grp.

When i alight at commonwealth,
it was again raining cats and dogs.
I was feeling upset coz i tot i will fall sick again,
Than, i rmb i had a umbrella in my bag.

Took it out, use it to cross a two way road and i walked into the factory.

When i came out of the factory,
the rain had became a drizzle.

Its unbelievable, coz i only took 3 mins to cut across the factory.

And by the time i reach home, (another 5mins)
The rain had stopped!
i dnt even need my umbrella!!

Thank God for that!

Family Outing

I went to sch in the morning at 10am,
and i prayed that my supervisor would not be free in the evening.
(My grp and i are suppose to meet our supervisor at 5pm)

God really answered my prayer….
We waited till 6.45pm before we got to see our supervisor.
And in less than 15 mins, it was over.

Its quite frustrating you know?

Im suppose to have a family buffet dinner at vivo at 5.30pm.
And at 7pm, my family and i were scheduled to watch a movie.

So, by the time i hopped into a cab, it was already 7.10pm.
I reached VivoCity at 7.45pm and called my dad.
My dad came out to fetch me and passed me my ticket.

We went into cinema, and mine was the centre seat of the 2nd row from the front.
Sigh! So awkward lah.

Oh, We watch Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver surfer.
The movie was pretty good. =)

After that,
I managed to get my dad to buy me a new optic mouse!
And my bro convinced dad to get him a 2G Thumbdrive.

As your truly here is a member of challenger,
The price of the pdts were discounted by 40% or more.
and we got parking incentives!

My spoilt sister than wanted to go candy empire.
So i took the family on a different route.
We walked via the car park. pretty lost kind of feeling. =p

Than dad drove us to a gas station.
He pumped gas and we had the car washed!

the last time the whole family sit through a car wash was in,
i think 1995? when i was in p1? and when my sis was not born?
and when the washing was done by machine?

Anyway, the car wash was terrific.
It gives me a cosy feeling.
The whole family was together in the car,
and there were some goody guy outside washing the car.

yup.

I think its the first time my family ever watch a movie together.

On my way home,
i thought maybe the cab money was well spent.
than dad suprised me when he took out $20 and passed it to me.
The cab only cost $18, so i passed him back a $2 change. =)

Tour De Campus 07

I was so reluctant to wake up at 6am la.
I slept late last night, and i caught a bad flu.

I managed to reach sch at 8am for the Facilitator’s briefing.
Apparantly, i had a swopped in partner. (which i tink was good)

On my way down, i prayed.
I told God tat i would like a City harvester to be in my grp.
Somehow, i just had faith it will happen.

So after ice breakers, i gather the yr 1s in my grp.
We did a self intro, starting with farhana and me.
Than the guy on my left was next.

I was looking at my paperworks when i heard him introduced himself.
He said his name was tobie and i tot he had a weird accent.
So i look up, and boo!

It was a farmiliar face!
I know tobie from church, 3 yrs ago!
But apparantly,we lost contact coz i changed zone.

So God really promised a harvester yeah noe?! =p

At this point of time, my bad flu just got well and i was functioning normally.
We went to various game stations for team bonding games.
and im so proud of my group,they excel at all the games.
From building the tallest tower to taking the shortest time to complete task.
the whole event ended well.
And right after it end, my shoe sole came off. and my flu came back.darn.

The yr2’s and yr 3’s had a debrief at the meeting room afterwards.
We did evaluation on the grp members.

Jesher(the guy i bought to chc) had a sister.
His sister is called janice and she is a participant.

I just want to say im so pleased with janice and tobie.
they were the light and salt of their various groups.
So happy to hear the other facilitators praising them.

Praise God!

Stop Rain Stop!

Today went to school for my MP meeting.
Spend the entire afternoon fixing the database.

I left at abt 6.30pm, coz we got chased out by the lab technician.
Took train and arrived at commenwealth station at 7.30pm.

It was raining heavily outside and
I was listening to my mp3.
The song that was playing is “Mighty to savE” by hillsongs.
The lyrics was very meaningful…

Saviour, He can moves the mountains,
He is might to save, He is mighty to save.

I thought to myself for a while.
if He can move moutains, than maybe He can make the rain stop.

So i prayed hard that the rain will stop,
coz i didnt wana fall sick.

I crossed the road and it was still drizzling.

On my way home,
i will have to pass through a factory.

So as i came out of the factory,
the rain stopped!
It was a small drizzle.

So i thank God and walked home.
As i reached my block,
the rain got heavier and before long,
it was pouring again!

I tell you,
its really God man!

At night, i had a conference call with my cell(chc).
Karen was sharing with us abt faith.
What she said was hurtful and blunt,
but it contains tremendous truth and the truth will set u free.

I think a leader cant please everybody,
and whatever she said, i think she meant it from her heart. =)
